MMPN Congratulates Fajimite on MULAN Presidency

The Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN) has congratulated Barrister Hassan Taiwo Fajimite on his election as President of the Muslim Lawyers’ Association of Nigeria (MULAN), describing his emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in his leadership and professional competence.

In a statement dated June 29, 2026, the association said Fajimite’s election was a testament to his integrity, experience and commitment to justice, the legal profession and the ideals of Islam.

MMPN expressed confidence that the new MULAN president would strengthen the association’s role in promoting the rule of law, protecting fundamental human rights, advancing legal scholarship and contributing to national development and peaceful coexistence.

The association urged Fajimite to prioritise the empowerment of young lawyers, the protection of the rights of the Muslim community and stronger collaboration between MULAN and other professional bodies.

MMPN also pledged to work closely with the new leadership to promote justice, combat misinformation and project a positive image of Islam through responsible journalism and public engagement. It assured MULAN of continued media support to give visibility to its programmes and activities.

The association further commended the outgoing MULAN leadership for its contributions to the growth of the organisation and expressed hope that the new administration would build on its achievements.

MMPN concluded by praying for wisdom, strength, good health and success for Fajimite and his executive committee as they begin their tenure, while wishing the association continued progress and professional excellence.
