
Mallam Abdulaezeez Arowona, spokesperson to the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr) Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, and Managing Director/CEO of EMIRATE RADIO 98.5 FM, has earned a Master’s Degree in Management of Health, Education and Social Institutions from the University of Management and Administration in Opole, Poland.
Arowona completed the programme on June 30, 2026, graduating with a distinction and a perfect CGPA of 5.0/5.0 after successfully defending his thesis. The university described the result as the highest academic performance recorded by the institution.

His thesis was supervised by Professor Wojciech Duczmal, a Polish economist and university administrator, who commended Arowona for his contributions to journalism through the establishment of EMIRATE RADIO 98.5 FM and Royal News Magazine.
Following the successful defence, Duczmal congratulated Arowona, confirming that he had been awarded the master’s degree with distinction and advising him that his graduation confirmation was immediately available, while his certificate would be issued within a few weeks.

The latest qualification comes shortly after Arowona earned a doctorate in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Ilorin, a Master’s degree in Humanitarian and Refugee Studies from the University of Ibadan, a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from the International Institute of Journalism, Abuja, and a Master Class in Business Management and Leadership from the London Graduate School.
In addition, he holds a professional certification in Information Technology and Management from the European Institute of Information Technology and Security in Brussels, Belgium, and is a member of several professional bodies, including the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), the Institute of Chartered Economists of Nigeria (ICEN), and the Guild of Corporate Online Publishers (GOCOP).
Arowona, a media entrepreneur, peace advocate and social development professional, said he remains committed to academic excellence and lifelong learning. He disclosed that he plans to pursue two additional doctoral degrees as part of his continuing quest for knowledge.
