Legendary Nigerian singer 2Baba has dismissed speculation that he has reunited with his ex-wife, Annie Idibia, after a video of the pair dancing together resurfaced on social media.

The clip, which recently went viral, sparked widespread reactions online, with many fans and some celebrities interpreting it as a sign that the former couple had reconciled following their separation.

Annie was the first to respond to the rumours, posting a message on her Instagram Story on Monday that read: “Believe everything u see on social media at ur expense.”

Shortly afterwards, 2Baba also addressed the speculation, clarifying that the video was not recent.

“Abeg nah old video o,” the singer wrote on his Instagram Story, dismissing claims that the footage reflected a reunion.

The clarification comes about 18 months after 2Baba publicly announced his separation from Annie, ending years of speculation about the state of their marriage.
