The Ekiti State Police Command has launched an investigation into the disappearance of a 19-year-old woman, Dandam Happiness, who has been missing since August 10, 2026.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Sunday Abutu, disclosed this in a statement issued in Ado Ekiti on Monday.
According to Abutu, Happiness left her residence in Ado Ekiti at about 4pm on August 10 for an unknown destination and has not returned.
The police described her as about 4.5 feet tall and fair-skinned, with no tribal marks. She reportedly speaks English fluently.
The command said efforts by Happiness’ relatives and friends to locate her had so far been unsuccessful.
“The Command has begun an investigation to unravel her whereabouts,” Abutu said.
The police urged anyone with information that could assist in locating Happiness to report to the nearest police station or contact the command on +2349064050086.
Abutu also appealed to residents to share the information widely to support efforts by the police, family and friends to find the missing woman and ensure her safe return.
