President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Hausa community on the occasion of Hausa Day, describing the Hausa people as a vital force in Nigeria’s unity and development.

In a message marking the celebration, Tinubu said the Hausa people have made significant contributions to the country’s progress and remain an important pillar of national cohesion.

The President also praised the Hausa language, describing it as one of the world’s leading languages of commerce and unity.

According to him, the language has continued to grow in influence, serving as a bridge for communication and trade across Nigeria and beyond.

Tinubu extended his best wishes to the Hausa community as the 2026 Hausa Day celebration was held at the historic Daura Palace in Katsina State.
