First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday, commending his years of public service and contributions to the country.

In a birthday message posted on her X handle on Wednesday, Tinubu joined Shettima’s wife, Hajia Nana Shettima, as well as his family and friends, in marking the Vice President’s milestone birthday.

She described Shettima as a leader who has demonstrated strength, loyalty, commitment and dedication to Nigeria in his role as Vice President.

The First Lady also highlighted his previous public service as Governor of Borno State and Senator, as well as his career in the banking sector.

“On this occasion of your Diamond Jubilee, I join your wife, Her Excellency Hajia Nana Shettima, family and friends in celebrating you,” Tinubu said.

She added that Shettima had “exemplified strength, loyalty, commitment and love for country” as Vice President, while acknowledging his achievements in his previous roles.

Tinubu prayed for continued good health, peace, joy and happiness for the Vice President as he marks the milestone.

She wished Shettima a happy 60th birthday and prayed that Almighty Allah would continue to bless him in the years ahead.
