Ronaldo, Georgina Rodriguez Sign Prenup Before Lisbon Wedding

Cristiano Ronaldo and his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez, agreed to keep their assets separate under a prenuptial agreement signed shortly before their wedding in Lisbon.

The Al Nassr captain and Rodriguez reportedly married on Tuesday in an intimate civil ceremony attended by their children and four witnesses.

Ronaldo’s mother and three siblings were reportedly absent from the ceremony, which was officiated by registrar  August 10, a day before their marriage, at a public notary’s office in Lisbon.

Maria Manuel Ferreira de Campos Folhadela de Oliveira, who travelled from Porto to Cascais for the occasion. According to Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias, the couple signed the prenuptial agreement onThe agreement establishes a separate-property regime, meaning the couple will retain ownership of assets acquired before and during their marriage in accordance with the terms of their agreement.

The newspaper also published a copy of the marriage certificate, which identified Ronaldo by his full name and listed his age as 41, his birthplace and the names of his parents, including his late father, José Dinis Aveiro.

The certificate also contained the details of Rodriguez, 32, who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Both Ronaldo and Rodriguez are expected to retain their existing surnames following the marriage, rather than adopting a shared surname.

The marriage formalises the couple’s long-term relationship, which has included raising their children together.
