“As we mark this day, let us pray for peace, unity, and prosperity for our Emirate, Kwara State, and Nigeria at large. I appeal to faithfuls across all facets of human endeavours to engage in acts of charity, support the needy, and promote peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians irrespective of faith or ethnicity.”
The monarch however prayed Almighty Allah to accept the prayers and sacrifices of the Muslim faithful, and to grant Nigeria leaders the wisdom to steer the nation towards growth and stability.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari therefore wished all Muslims a peaceful and joyous Eid-Maulud celebration.
