Arteta Gives Arsenal Injury Update Ahead of Chelsea Clash

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has reported no major new injury concerns ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The Gunners are seeking to maintain their perfect start to the campaign with victory in the London derby.

Arteta confirmed that Bruno Guimaraes picked up a knock during Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa but is expected to return to training and be fit for the Chelsea match.

“He had a knock against Villa. He is being assessed but tomorrow probably he will be OK for training,” Arteta said.

The manager also played down concerns over Cristhian Mosquera, who was substituted during the victory over Villa, saying the decision was largely precautionary.

Arteta further confirmed that Ezri Konsa is available to start, while Jurrien Timber’s involvement will be decided after the team’s final training session.

“We will decide tomorrow after training,” Arteta said of Timber’s fitness.
