NNPCL Reduces Petrol Price To N1,325 Per Litre In Abuja

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has reduced its petrol pump price to N1,325 per litre at its retail outlets in Abuja and neighbouring areas.

A market survey by DAILY POST on Wednesday showed that the new price represents a reduction of between N45 and N80 from the previous rate of N1,370 to N1,405 per litre.

The new price has been implemented at NNPCL filling stations in Gwarimpa and along the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja.

A fuel attendant at one of the company’s outlets, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed the adjustment, saying the price was reduced on Wednesday afternoon.

The development comes two days after reports that filling stations across the country were expected to review their pump prices following a reduction in the gantry price of petrol by the Dangote Refinery.

The refinery had lowered its petrol gantry price to N1,215 per litre, a move expected to trigger further reductions in retail prices across the country.
