Nigerian content creator and influencer Papaya Ex has accused officers of the Lagos State Police Command of assaulting her during an encounter on Friday night.

She said the incident occurred while she was returning from a shoot. Speaking during a TikTok live session, she appeared with a bleeding facial injury and alleged that officers hit her with a gun, assaulted her breast, and beat up her driver.

The live video showed one officer inside her vehicle while others stood outside.

Although the alleged assault was not captured on camera, visible injuries, including a wound on her face, were seen during the broadcast.

The influencer did not provide further details about what led to the confrontation.

Police authorities have yet to issue a formal statement responding directly to the specific allegations.
