Eze Matches Walcott’s Four-Competition Scoring Feat

Eberechi Eze has become only the second English player to score for Arsenal FC across four major competitions in a single season, matching a record previously set by Theo Walcott in the 2012–13 campaign.

Eze reached the milestone after finding the net in Arsenal’s 2–0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 second-leg clash at the Emirates Stadium.

The win secured Arsenal’s progression to the Champions League quarter-finals, with Eze playing a key role in the result.

The 27-year-old England international joined Arsenal from Crystal Palace FC during last summer’s transfer window and has since become an important figure in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

His goal against Leverkusen means he has now scored in the Premier League, FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and UEFA Champions League this season.

Eze will look to continue his strong form when Arsenal face Manchester City FC in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday, as the club aims to secure silverware.
