Joao Pedro Apologises to Chelsea Fans After Forest Defeat

Joao Pedro has expressed disappointment following Chelsea’s 3-1 Premier League loss to Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge, saying he feels sorry for the club’s supporters.

Pedro scored Chelsea’s only goal in the match, but a brace from Taiwo Awoniyi and a strike by Igor Jesus secured victory for Forest.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, the Brazilian forward admitted the team must take responsibility for the result.

“Everyone needs to have a look at themselves, me included. I feel sorry for the fans,” he said.

The goal marked Pedro’s 15th in the Premier League this season for Chelsea FC, excluding penalties.

Chelsea will look to bounce back when they face Liverpool FC at Anfield in their next league fixture on Saturday.
