
The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, has congratulated the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Salihu Yakubu Danladi, on his 41st birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on Sunday through his spokesman, Dr. Abdulazeez Arowona, the Emir described Danladi as a vibrant and dedicated leader whose contributions to legislative governance and youth development have been commendable.
He praised the Speaker’s leadership of the State Assembly, noting that he has demonstrated maturity, loyalty, and capacity in managing legislative affairs and maintaining cooperation with other arms of government.
According to the Emir, Danladi’s leadership style reflects wisdom, humility, and commitment to public service.
“At 41, the Speaker has already written his name in gold as a symbol of hope for the younger generation,” the monarch said.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari also commended the Speaker for supporting people-oriented legislation and initiatives aimed at promoting peace and improving the welfare of residents across the state.
He encouraged Danladi to remain committed to service and continue representing the Ilorin Emirate positively at both state and national levels.
The Emir, on behalf of the Kwara State Traditional Rulers Council, prayed for long life, good health, wisdom, and divine guidance for the Speaker as he continues in public service.
