Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that his wife, Chioma Adeleke, plays a major role in managing his finances, describing her as his “life coordinator.”

The singer made the disclosure in a video that went viral on Wednesday, showing him calling Chioma after experiencing difficulty accessing his bank account while attempting to send money to his personal assistant, Lati.

During the call, Davido asked his wife to transfer $4,000 to his aide on his behalf.

“Hello, baby. Good morning, my wife, my love. Help me send Lati $4,000. I can’t log in. I don’t know why; it’s the service here. Alright. We’re taking off now to Naija. I love you,” he said.

After the call, his official streamer, Davreltv, asked whether Chioma had taken over the management of his finances.

Responding, Davido confirmed the arrangement, saying it was necessary because of his spending habits.

“Of course. You know I’m a reckless spender. Na she dey arrange everything. Na my life coordinator be that,” the singer said.
