The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in promoting civic education, value reorientation, and public enlightenment across the state. Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Jibril Mamman Saba, gave the assurance while receiving the agency’s management team in his office.
Prof. Saba emphasized NOA’s crucial role in addressing social challenges such as drug abuse, criminality, and other antisocial behaviors among youths. He pledged that Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s administration would continue to provide the necessary backing for the agency to function effectively.
State Director of NOA, Alhaji Abdulganiyu Dare, commended the governor for his inclusive governance and infrastructural strides, while appealing for additional support to strengthen the agency’s interventions. The meeting underscored the growing collaboration between the state government and NOA in tackling societal issues and promoting positive values among citizens.
