Popular Nigerian content creator Samuel Animashaun Perry also know as Broda Shaggi has reportedly been hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot injury in Ogun State.

The incident allegedly occurred on Sunday at the Sango Ota Bridge, where the entertainer was said to be filming content at the time of the shooting.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the incident remain unclear, but the injured comedian was reportedly rushed to a private hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos for treatment.

He was later transferred to another medical facility in the Ikeja area of the city for further care.

Spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed that the case came to the attention of the police after the hospital reported receiving a gunshot victim.

According to her, officers who visited the hospital subsequently confirmed that the victim was the well-known content creator.

Police have not yet released further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and investigations are expected to continue.
